Katy-Rose is an idealist and romantic at heart who dreams of the beauty to be found in even the darkest of places. She loves roses, cats, the colour purple, big black boots, gothic art, sushi, mango smoothies and strong, sweet coffee!
She and her best friend and soul mate, Benjamin, were married and handfasted on the eve of the Spring Equinox, 2010 and celebrated the birth of their first child together, a beautiful little prince, on the 16th of October 2011.
Writing is one of her greatest passions and as such, she can often be found with her head in the clouds, pen and notepad on hand. She primarily enjoys writing romance fuelled, gothic themed Young Adult fantasy.

Katy-Rose lives in Perth, Western Australia with her husband, three children and two feline companions. Katy-Rose currently has a small handful of short stories published and is working on her first Young Adult novel. Katy-Rose has a keen interest in the arts, music and nature and likes to combine the three whenever life allows.
